Silent.im’s calling architecture is built on the same OpenRTC grant and signaling path used for app calls, allowing video to stay attached to the contact and conversation context.
- Video belongs to the same in-app calling surface.
- Session access is granted by the Silent.im backend.
- Calls stay inside the Silent.im app experience alongside messaging and identity.
